Titans Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed Signs Four-Year Deal Worth $19.1 Million but Falls Short of Becoming Highest-Paid CB in NFL

L’Jarius Sneed, the cornerback for the Titans, was hoping to become the highest-paid cornerback in the NFL, but his new contract details suggest otherwise. According to a source familiar with the terms, the four-year deal he signed averages $19.1 million in total.

The contract includes a signing bonus of $20 million and a fully guaranteed base salary of $4.32 million for the 2024 season. Additionally, there is a per-game active roster bonus of $680,000 for 2024, which is also fully guaranteed but needs to be earned.

In 2025, Sneed will receive a fully guaranteed base salary of $18.32 million, along with a per-game active roster bonus of $680,000. In 2026, his base salary will be $15.15 million, with $11 million guaranteed for injury at signing and $7.5 million becoming fully guaranteed in March 2026. There is also a per-game active roster bonus of $850,000 for the 2026 season.

In 2027, Sneed’s base salary will be $15.55 million, with a per-game active roster bonus of $850,000. The total average of the deal is $19
