Giants introduce special alternate uniforms in honor of 100th anniversary

Throwing Back in Style: The Giants Unveil Century Red Uniform for 100th Anniversary

In honor of their 100th anniversary, the Giants are introducing an alternate uniform that will take them back in time. The team recently unveiled their new “Century Red” look, which is a departure from their modern-day attire. The red jerseys feature a blue midsection underneath white numbers, along with a special patch commemorating the 100th season on the upper left.

The design of this new uniform is inspired by the Giants’ uniforms from 1933, the year they made it to their first NFL Championship Game. To complete the throwback look, the team will wear tan pants with red and blue striped socks reminiscent of their 1925 uniforms. Additionally, the Giants will sport alternate helmets that resemble Michigan’s winged helmets but in red and blue colors instead of maize and blue.

The team plans to wear these throwback uniforms for up to two games during the season. Given its unique and historical nature, this new look is sure to generate strong reactions from fans and observers alike whenever it takes to the field.
