Students from Thomas College receive honors at business conference

Thomas College Business Students Shine in International Competition with Multiple Wins

Recently, five Thomas College students participated in the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) International Business Conference held in Orlando, Florida. The students were Dan Brewer, Tanner Herrick, Jade Crowell, Preston Moody and Addison Landon. They competed in various categories including a written case study, a case study presentation, a knowledge bowl, an extemporaneous speech and a business pitch.

The team did exceptionally well and won several top awards. They placed second overall in the competition and received third place for their case study presentation. Three of the students, Preston Moody, Jade Crowell and Addison Landon competed in the Knowledge Bowl finals with Landon finishing in second place. He was also recognized as the top individual student performer.

Dr Rick Saucier and Dr Jono Anzalone coached the team and expressed how impressed they were with their exceptional performance despite facing tough competition from a record number of colleges participating. This is Thomas College’s seventh consecutive year placing in the SAM competition, which highlights their strong reputation in business management academic circles.
