Polls showed that Trump received high marks for his handling of the economy, with voters trusting him more than Biden to address concerns such as inflation. Trump’s $1.5 trillion tax overhaul in 2017 would expire during the next president’s term in 2025, impacting the economy significantly.

Biden, on the other hand, believes in boosting the U.S. economy from the middle out and the bottom up. He has introduced the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, focusing on stimulus and funding for infrastructure and climate initiatives. Biden’s economic plan also includes increasing the minimum corporate tax rate and introducing benefits such as restoring the Child Tax Credit and providing tax credits for new homebuyers.
