The Cardinals have announced that they have signed four of their draftees to contracts, including fifth-round linebacker Xavier Thomas, fifth-round offensive tackle Christian Jones, sixth-round receiver Tejhaun Palmer, and seventh-round cornerback Jaden Davis. With these signings, there are now eight draftees left unsigned.
In 2018, Xavier Thomas was ranked as the No. 3 prospect in his class and had an impressive freshman year at Clemson where he finished as an All-American. During the 2023 season, he recorded 25 tackles, four tackles for loss, and three sacks. Christian Jones was selected as a swing tackle and is known for his versatility in the offensive line.
Tejhaun Palmer is now part of a revamped receiving group that includes Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, Greg Dortch, and veteran Chris Moore. Jaden Davis is a cornerback who has experience playing outside, in the slot, and at safety. He had a productive season with 42 tackles, four pass deflections, and two forced fumbles.
