Shop Local and Support Small Businesses on Medina’s Small Business Saturday

In an effort to support the local business community, Medina is participating in Small Business Saturday on November 25. As part of the larger “Shop Small Movement” founded by American Express in 2010, this event is dedicated to helping small businesses thrive and always takes place the Saturday after Thanksgiving and Black Friday during the holiday shopping season.

To celebrate Small Business Saturday in Medina, a table will be set up in the Huntington Bank lobby at 39 Public Square with “Shop Small” handouts and information about the city’s small business community. Additionally, Santa will be making an appearance at Wichert Insurance from noon to 2 pm.

According to a recent press release from Main Street Medina, over 90% of the storefronts in Medina’s business district are filled with local, independent retail shops, boutiques, restaurants, pubs, and a variety of services. This shows the strong local support for small businesses in the community.
