RPSO investigates alleged ATM theft from business by man

Shocking Burglary: Man Smashes Into Boyce Business and Steals ATM Machine in the Middle of the Night

On February 12th at around 4:55 a.m., a man reportedly stole an ATM from a business in Boyce, Louisiana. According to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, the man approached the business in the 5500 block of Old Boyce Road and backed up a black Ford Fusion into it. He then rammed the front doors off their hinges to gain entry to the building.

Once inside, the suspect allegedly took the ATM machine, placed it in his vehicle, and left about six minutes later. The black Ford Fusion is expected to have heavy damage to its rear and missing side mirrors. It has also lost its rear bumper and several undercarriage items.

The suspect is wanted for simple burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property. The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information about this incident to come forward and report any relevant tips. This investigation is currently underway by RPSO.
