Serbia Fears English Group Members: ‘A Tough Draw Would be Difficult for Us’
Last night, England drew against North Macedonia in a match that held no significance as the national team had already secured their place in the European Championship. Despite losing only four points in the qualifiers, they are looking very good ahead of the tournament with great optimism.
Before the qualifiers were over, SkySports had already started discussing possible scenarios for England’s draw for the Euro. The media outlet tried to find the perfect group for the national team and analyzed possible outcomes of their draws.
According to SkySports, if England were to end up in a group with Albania, Slovenia and Serbia, it would be considered an ideal scenario. However, they also highlighted that winning Denmark, Netherlands and Croatia could be the most challenging draw for England.
It’s worth noting that at the last European Championship, England and Croatia were in the same group and ended up drawing 1-0. If Croatia manages to beat Armenia and go through additional qualifications before December 2nd’s draw takes place, there is a possibility that they could finish in fourth place alongside Denmark and Netherlands. No strength groups have been defined yet so all of these predictions are subject to change.
