“SDSU Research Showcased at the Midwest Animal Science Meeting” – The Mighty 790 KFGO

SDSU Department of Animal Science to Showcase Groundbreaking Research at 2024 Midwest Section Meeting of American Society of Animal Science

The South Dakota State University Department of Animal Science is set to participate in the 2024 Midwest Section meeting of the American Society of Animal Science. The event, which will take place from March 10-13 in Madison, Wisconsin, will feature cutting-edge research and Extension projects from both students and faculty.

Graduate and undergraduate students from several states, including South Dakota, will have the opportunity to showcase their research through oral and poster presentations. This conference will also provide access to other national and international animal science research. Three graduating student research assistants from SDSU will present the results of multi-year projects focused on various aspects of swine health.

The Midwest section of the American Society of Animal Science comprises several U.S. states, including South Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota
