A health education and vaccine fair is taking place in Lompoc on Saturday, June 15. Hosted by Savie Health, the event will feature information and resources from various community organizations, including the Santa Barbara County Promotoras and Lompoc Valley Community Healthcare Organization.
The Kiwanis of Santa Maria Valley will be providing guests with a complimentary lunch, featuring a choice between turkey and veggie hot dogs. Attendees can learn about important health topics such as Spanish language nutrition classes, sun safety, and diabetes prevention.
The fair will also offer free vaccinations to low to moderate-income community members who are either Medi-Cal recipients or uninsured. The available vaccines include Flu, COVID-19, and Mpox.
