KALAMAZOO, MI — Kalamazoo County well being leaders have issued alerts just after a current spike of overdoses that probably include things like six drug-linked deaths.
The deaths and extra than a dozen non-fatal overdoses all occurred inside the span of 24 hours on Wednesday and Thursday.
Kalamazoo Public Security officials attributed the overdoses to a “deadly batch of fentanyl.”
The Kalamazoo County Wellness & Neighborhood Solutions workplace on Thursday, April 13 stated its employees was on alert.
Western Michigan University health-related leaders also issued an advisory to the campus neighborhood, but noted they have been not conscious of any WMU neighborhood members straight impacted by the overdoses.
