Revolutionizing Healthcare: HEROES Program Seeking Applicants to Enhance Outcomes with Community-Based Interventions

The Department of Health and Human Services’ Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA-H) is currently seeking applicants for its Health Care Rewards to Achieve Improved Outcomes (HEROES) program. This initiative aims to evaluate a new payment model that incentivizes community-based interventions to enhance health outcomes in a specific geographic area.

Under the HEROES program, participating entities such as non-profit organizations and consortiums will receive direct payments to address and reduce specific health harms within their designated area. This initiative seeks to promote collaboration and innovation in healthcare delivery to ultimately improve the well-being of individuals in the community.

Those interested in learning more about the HEROES program can attend upcoming webinars scheduled for March 26 and April 2. These webinars will provide detailed information about the program, its objectives, and how interested parties can participate in this groundbreaking initiative. Interested applicants must submit abstracts by June 17, with a final solicitation expected to be released by April 22.
