Energy Transfer signs on as jersey patch sponsor for the Texas Rangers

Rangers’ Energy Transfer Partnership: How Companies are Using Sports to Boost Brand Visibility

In a new multiyear deal, Energy Transfer has been named the first jersey patch sponsor of the Texas Rangers. The Dallas-based energy infrastructure company has been a sponsor of the Rangers since 2018 and will now have their logo featured on a circular patch on the right sleeve of all six Rangers jerseys. This partnership will also include an expanded marketing presence, including ballpark signage and radio network inventory.

The addition of Energy Transfer’s logo to the Rangers’ jerseys is part of a growing trend in Major League Baseball (MLB), with 19 teams now featuring jersey patch deals heading into the upcoming season. These deals are required to have a minimum commitment of three years. The circle patch will be in Rangers blue on the home jerseys and in white on the road jerseys, highlighting the continued integration of sponsorships in professional sports and the importance of brand visibility for companies like Energy Transfer.

As the Rangers kick off their season with their new jersey patch sponsor, fans can expect to see more collaborations between sports teams and corporate partners in the future. This partnership underscores the importance of brand exposure for companies looking to reach a wider audience through sports sponsorships.
