WHEELING – Andrew Skadra drove in 3 runs with a pair of singles and Jack Scouvart pitched three-plus innings of relief as Linsly doubled up going to Madonna, six-three, in higher college baseball action on Holloway Field.

The Cadets (ten-three) also received a single, double and two RBI from Trey Prather. Jaxon Murray singled twice.

Paden City eight, Beallsville 7

BEALLSVILLE – Joey Baker fanned 15 in relief and singled in a run as the Wildcats (ten-five) slipped previous the Blue Devils.

Tryson English singled 3 instances and doubled to knock in a run for Beallsville. Thorn Stoffel singled and doubled twice to plate 3 runs.

Shadyside three, Frontier two

SHADYSIDE — The Tigers bounced back from a lop-sided loss at Madonna with an impressive win more than invading Frontier on Thursday.

Tyler Stottlemyer was brilliant on the bump with 5 strikeouts in the comprehensive game.

At the plate, Shadyside was led by Grant Miller, who had a triple, single and drove in two. Anthony Forgacas had two singles and a RBI, though Cole Micker had two singles.

SOFTBALL

Monroe four, Waterford 1

WOODSFIELD — Monroe Central scored 3 instances in the fifth and went on to post a victory more than invading Waterford Thursday afternoon.

Shyann Baker had a RBI single. Jacey English had a RBI triple and Jauna McElroy also had a RBI double for the Seminoles (7-six).

Toronto 17, Harrison three

TORONTO — Harrison Central scored the 1st 3 runs of the game, but it was all Red Knights from there Thursday afternoon en route to a 5-inning win.

Maddy Butler had two singles, though Isabell Yeager had a double and RBI. Lizzy Clelland had two RBI for the Huskies.

Barnesville four, Buckeye three

BARNESVILLE — The Shamrocks scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to escape with a four-three victory against winless Buckeye Regional Thursday.

Abigail Johnson was the winner in the circle with 5 strikeouts. Kylee Powell made a bulk of the offense with 3 singles and two RBI. Lilly Welch had two singles and Ellie Thompson had a RBI double.

Madison Roset had two singles for the Panthers, though Tatum Walker had a RBI single.

Bellaire 22, St. Clairsville eight

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The Massive Reds scored their second decisive victory in as lots of days more than struggling St. Clairsville.

Bellaire pounded out 18 hits and received nine St. C. errors.

Majestique Jackson came on in relief to earn the pitching win. She also had a house run, single and drove in six.

Sophia Porter, Sydney Rowson, Lizzie McAninch and Rachel Porter all had 3 RBI in the game. Sophia Porter had 5 hits, which includes 3 doubles.

Alli Ault a triple, two singles and drove in a run.

Rachel Finnical had two singles and a RBI, though Kesslee Barrera had two singles and two RBI. Lainey Benedict had two RBI.
