Post-Game Shower Struggles: FedEx Field’s Locker Rooms Without Hot Water

The Commanders suffered a crushing 31-19 defeat to the Giants, and players hoping to wash away their bad feelings with a hot shower after the game will have to wait until they get home. Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that there is no hot water in either of the locker rooms at FedEx Field.

According to the Commanders spokesperson, there was an equipment failure in the main water heater that prevented hot water from reaching the field level locker rooms. The issue couldn’t be resolved during the game without completely shutting off the water to the stadium.

This isn’t the first time there have been issues with pipes at FedEx Field. In the past, these issues left people in need of a shower rather than preventing them from taking one. However, on Sunday, the lack of hot water compounded a bad day for the home team who fell to 4-7 on the season. As a result, players will have to find some other way to rinse away their stink of defeat.
