Pittsburgh Steelers Let Go of Offensive Coordinator Matt Canada

Pittsburgh Steelers have parted ways with offensive coordinator Matt Canada. Head coach Mike Tomlin made the announcement, expressing his appreciation for Canada’s hard work and dedication while wishing him well in his future endeavors. The Steelers are still in the hunt for a spot in the AFC playoffs, but they need a stronger offense to compete. Despite quarterback Kenny Pickett’s struggles to show growth in his second season and the offense’s consistent failure to move downfield, Tomlin made the difficult decision to make a change to give the team the best chance at success. There has been no official announcement on who will take over as the play caller for the Steelers’ offense, but reports suggest that quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan and running backs coach Eddie Faulkner will be assuming Canada’s responsibilities.
