Pittsburgh-Area Gun Store Owner Charged with Theft following Investigation into Business Dealings

The owner of a Westmoreland County gun store, Tracey McMahan, has been charged with several counts of theft and receiving stolen property following an investigation into her business sales, according to the district attorney’s office.

According to the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office, McMahan, who owns Hi Grade Shooting Supply, allegedly accepted payment for two guns but failed to deliver them or provide refunds to customers. One victim paid $4,600 for a shotgun and never received the gun or a refund. Another victim tried to sell a Beretta shotgun on consignment for $3,500 but also did not receive payment.

McMahan was charged with several counts of theft and receiving stolen property by deception. In addition to these charges filed by the district attorney’s office, Pennsylvania State Police also filed additional charges against her.

Court documents show that McMahan was arraigned and released on $50,000 unsecured bond.
