The University of Texas School of Law is set to host its 37th Annual Technology Law Conference on May 23-24, 2024 at Hotel ZaZa Austin Downtown. The conference features a wide range of discussions led by nationally recognized leaders in technology, covering issues such as technology licensing, data privacy, and emerging technology.

He specializes in technology outsourcing and mergers and acquisitions transactions and advises both government agencies acquiring mission-critical technology and private sector clients on strategic acquisitions, purchase and sale of businesses and assets, and technology procurement.
Jennifer F. Wertz, another Jackson Walker partner based in Austin, will be a presenter at the conference on May 23. Her presentation titled “A Technology-Focused Introduction to Bankruptcy & Insolvency” will provide valuable insights on key bankruptcy and insolvency concepts including protectionist and opportunistic strategies. She is certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and focuses on complex corporate reorganization and fiduciary litigation with an emphasis on workouts and reorganization.
