Pioneer Technology Center Celebrates 2023-2024 Guaranteed Graduates and Highlights the Importance of Workforce Development

Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) in Ponca City, Oklahoma, celebrated the achievements of its 2023-2024 Guaranteed Graduates during a ceremony last week. This initiative, which has been running for nine years, highlights excellence and dedication among students and industry partners.

The Guaranteed Graduate Initiative was established to benefit employers by producing high-achieving students who become quality employees in the workplace. This ultimately leads to more productive companies within the district. Employers can rely on graduates who qualify for the guarantee, as they have demonstrated outstanding attendance, a high grade point average, and have completed their training programs successfully. These graduates also hold industry-licensed credentials or certifications, equipping them with the necessary skills to succeed in their fields.

According to Traci Thorpe, Superintendent/CEO of Pioneer Technology Center, this initiative has been crucial in promoting a culture of high achievement and quality workforce development at PTC. In the rare event that an employer is not satisfied with a graduate’s job performance, Pioneer Tech stands by its graduates and offers retraining to address any concerns. The ceremony recognized several outstanding individuals who have excelled in their training programs and are now ready to enter the workforce. The list of recognized individuals includes a diverse group of students who have shown exceptional dedication and skill in their respective fields.
