For the past 12 years, the Mars Petcare Dog Science Camp has been a beloved summer program offering at the Edgerton Explorit Center. This camp provides local youth with an opportunity to learn all about dogs and spend quality time with their furry companions.
During the camp, eighth grader Justin Brainard, like many others, had the chance to interact with dogs and deepen his understanding of them. Activities included jumping through hoops on an obstacle course with dogs, as seen with camper Asher Heiss and his furry companion, Leo. The closing dog show allowed campers to showcase the skills they had learned with their dogs.
The Mars Petcare Dog Science Camp was a paws-itive experience for all involved. Campers gained valuable knowledge about dogs while having fun and strengthening their bond with “man’s best friend.” The camp continues to be a popular choice for youth in the area who have a love for dogs and a desire to deepen their connection with them.
