Parler sold, pulled offline as new owner retools web page

Starboard, a Virginia-primarily based digital media organization, announced Friday it had acquired the app that was as soon as hailed by conservatives as a Twitter option.

Parler, which promptly gained prominence amongst conservatives soon after launching in 2018, had been floundering after it was briefly pulled from mainstream app shops and Amazon’s net hosting service.
