Grace Properties LLC, owned by David and Amanda Trahan, has purchased 6.2 acres of land near Sugar Mill Pond in Youngsville for over $2.8 million to build a new location for their Lake Charles-based daiquiri chain. The Trahans plan to divide the land into five lots, with their business located on the southern end of the property. They hope to start construction in the fall and sell the remaining lots to other businesses.
In addition to their plans for Youngsville, the Trahans have also purchased 1.6 acres of land along Milton Road near the Metairie Center shopping center in 2022 for $555,000. However, they later sold it for $800,000 to a Baton Rouge-based development group due to an offer that came in right before construction was set to begin.
The Trahans have big plans for expansion in the Lafayette area as well. They hope to add five or six additional locations and expand into Baton Rouge. Currently, Paradise Grill & Daiquiris has four locations in Lake Charles and Moss Bluff, with another set to open on May 1st.
