Jointly organized by WHO/Europe and the United Kingdom Overall health Safety Agency (UKHSA), the 2023 European Overall health in Prisons Programme (HIPP) International Conference will concentrate on the vulnerabilities of prisons and locations of detention to infectious illnesses, with the aim of producing them much more resilient to endemic and epidemic threats.
Participants will discover:
- how the overall health of persons in prisons and locations of detention and the overall performance of prison overall health systems are impacted by infectious illnesses, such as illnesses of an epidemic and pandemic nature
