New Partnership between American Red Cross and Memorial Health Foundation Supports Fight Against Cancer with $3,000 Grant

The American Red Cross has received a $3,000 grant from the Memorial Health Foundation to support their Blood Saves Lives Fighting Cancer initiative. Sharon Kesselring, the executive director of the American Red Cross of the Ohio River Valley, expressed excitement about the partnership with the Health System.

The foundation’s board of trustees voted to award the grant due to the important role that the American Red Cross plays in patient care within the Health System and in the region. The grant will help with the collection and processing of blood products for those in need in the area.
