CW Sports Appoints Jason Wormser as Senior Vice President

New Leadership Drives CW Network’s Sports Portfolio

Brad Schwartz, President of Entertainment at The CW Network, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jason Wormser as the Senior Vice President of CW Sports. In his new role, Wormser will oversee all production aspects of The CW’s sports portfolio, which includes live events such as LIV Golf, ACC college football, men’s and women’s basketball, and the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2025.

Schwartz praised Wormser’s passion and experience in producing live sports, as well as his dedication to creating a compelling broadcast that offers the ultimate fan experience. Wormser previously served as the Vice President of Production, Soccer, for Fox Soccer Channel, Fox, and FS1. He supervised broadcasting crews for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2018 FIFA Men’s World Cup.

Wormser expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to The CW and Nexstar in their venture into live sports programming. In just one short year, they have already made significant strides by signing deals with LIV Golf, ACC football and basketball, Inside the NFL, and the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
