The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science has appointed Jennifer Evans as its new executive director. Evans, a seasoned not-for-profit executive with experience in development, fundraising, and public service administration, will bring her unique skills to the organization.
According to Stephanie Engelbrecht, chair of the museum’s search committee, the Search Committee, Board of Trustees, and Museum staff are thrilled to have Evans on board. They are confident that she will lead the organization to even greater success as an arts, history, and science destination in the region.
Adam Borgman, president of the museum’s board of trustees, stated that during a critical time in the Museum’s history it was crucial to identify a new leader who could build upon the success created by outgoing Executive Director Mary Bower. They saw Jennifer as a local leader who would bring her community connections, business acumen and leadership qualities to the Museum.
Evans will take up her new role as executive director on July 22nd. This change in leadership marks an important milestone for the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science.
