Mooney appointed vice president of business development at Parkridge, plus other career moves in the Chattanooga area

New Executive Appointments in the Chattanooga Business Community: A Roundup of Recent Moves

Parkridge Health System has appointed Chessie Mooney as its new vice president of business development. In her role, she will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships with clients. Mooney previously worked as the director of physician practice management at Parkland Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Dalton State College.

Parkridge Health System includes three facilities: Parkridge Medical Center, Parkridge East Hospital, and Parkridge Valley Hospital. In addition to her work with the health system, Mooney is also involved in the Greater Ooltewah Council of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Leadership Chattanooga Alumni Association. She is also currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Other recent career moves in the Chattanooga area include Clayton Fercher being named vice president of regulatory affairs at Chattem, Inc., Boston Lopez joining Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga as a construction site supervisor, and Trenton Smith being appointed an associate in Miller & Martin’s Chattanooga office.
