CEO named for local marketing technology firm

New CEO Brings Fresh Perspective to Nashville Marketing Technology Firm Marigold

Nashville-based marketing technology firm, Marigold, has appointed Mike Gordon as the new CEO. Gordon previously served as the CEO of ArisGlobal, a company in Massachusetts focused on clinical safety and regulatory solutions, as well as the leader of Altus Group, a real estate asset group in Toronto. While based in Boston, Gordon will be spending a significant amount of time in Nashville.

The appointment of Gordon comes after Wellford Dillard’s seven-year tenure as CEO of Marigold. Dillard will now take on the role of CEO at Avid, a media and entertainment technology company based in Burlington, Massachusetts. Under Dillard’s leadership, Marigold underwent significant transformation and Gordon looks forward to continuing that progress with innovative marketing solutions that exceed the expectations of brands globally.

Formerly known as CM Group, Marigold rebranded in 2023 and now has 100 employees in Nashville. The company is made up of Campaign Monitor, Cheetah Digital, Emma from Nashville, Liveclicker, Sailthru, Selligent, and Vuture. With its diverse portfolio of marketing technology solutions and expertise in data analytics and strategy development, Marigold continues to be a leading player in the industry.
