DOE Releases Request for Proposals for Operational Support Services at National Energy Technology Laboratory Facility

NETL Seeks Small Businesses for Facility Operations Support in 8(a) Set-Aside Contract”.

The Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Site Operations Support Services 5 (SOS5), an 8(a) small business set-aside contract aimed at providing housekeeping and facility operation services in support of the lab.

Interested parties are invited to respond to the RFP by May 17, with specific work locations and the cost of the contract type to be determined based on requirements. The solicitation will benefit NETL facilities in Oregon, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania, with a base period of performance of 24 months that can be extended to a total of 60 months if exercised.

Under SOS5, services required include research and development, general engineering, site operations, property management, industrial hygiene, and waste disposal support. This contract presents an opportunity for small businesses to provide important support services to the Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory.
