Myriad Genetics Expands Research and Development Footprint at Drawbridge Realty’s Airport Technology Park with 62,737 Square Feet Lease Expansion

Drawbridge Realty has recently secured a 62,737 square foot lease expansion for Myriad Genetics at Airport Technology Park’s Building D. This expansion, which increases the company’s life science research and development footprint by 25%, brings their total space to 296,881 square feet. CBRE represented the tenant in this transaction.

Myriad Genetics currently utilizes Building D at Airport Technology Park for its laboratory and support center. The company initially leased 234,144 square feet at the property in 2022. Building D itself was constructed in 1959 and is located adjacent to Salt Lake City International Airport and major transportation routes.

Airport Technology Park is a large complex consisting of eight buildings totaling 1.4 million square feet. L3 Harris is the anchor tenant at this 79-acre property. CBRE Executive Vice President Scott Wilmarth and Senior Vice President Nadia Letey played key roles in representing Myriad Genetics during the leasing expansion.

Drawbridge Realty, which owns Building D and many other properties, operates a diverse national portfolio that includes single-tenant office, research and development, life science, and industrial assets. In addition to their expansion at Airport Technology Park, Drawbridge Realty recently secured a lease in Greenwood Village, Colorado with engineering and architecture firm Merrick & Co., totaling 69,154 square feet for 12 years as part of their larger portfolio of 48 buildings across 12 markets totaling 6.1 million square feet.
