MSMS Graduates Receive Impressive Scholarships to Attend Top Universities Across the Country

Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science (MSMS) has recently seen four local students graduate, with a ceremony held in May. This graduating class has accepted an impressive total of over $7.9 million in scholarships, out of the $32 million offered to attend universities both within and outside of Mississippi.

Among the graduates is Lila Christine Jacks from Oxford, who previously attended Oxford High School and is the child of Jacks Tom and Katie Jacks. Lila will be continuing her education at Clemson University this fall. Another graduate is Ava Grace Noe from Paris, who previously attended Lafayette High School and is the child of Nathan Noe and Jennifer Noe. Ava Grace will be attending Mississippi State University in the upcoming academic year.

Max Russell Wolf Flaschka from Oxford, who previously attended Oxford High School and is the child of Walter Flaschka and Shanna Flaschka, will also be continuing his education at Case Western Reserve University this fall. Lastly, Ava Elizabeth Wilson from Oxford, who also previously attended Oxford High School, is the child of Whitt Wilson and Amy Catherine Wilson. She will be attending Mississippi State University starting this fall as well.

The MSMS, established in 1987 on the campus of Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, is known as a nationally recognized residential high school that caters specifically to academically advanced 11th and 12th graders.
