MINNETONKA, Minn. – A group of hardworking students from Minnetonka Higher College are acquiring a after-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Later this month, Minnetonka Robotics students will test their capabilities against the greatest in the globe. But acquiring there will not be uncomplicated.

Due to the fact January, students have spent 300 hours creating, testing and perfecting Maverick. Final weekend, they certified for a trip to Houston, Texas, for the Robotic Globe Championships later this month.

“Our group has been to World’s after prior in the history of our group. This is a substantial deal,” stated group advisor Nick Bahr.

Bahr says this trip, although life altering, will price thousands. 

“From a preparing standpoint, from a logistics standpoint, yeah, myself and some other advisors have been like, ‘Oh my goodness, how are we going to do this?'” Bahr stated.

They are asking for aid to make this dream a reality. And possibly, they will come back with some more hardware. 

The college began an on the net fundraiser hunting to raise $20,000 for the trip.
