NBC Chicago Reports Minneapolis Is Among the Happiest Cities in the World in Latest Ranking

Minneapolis: The Happiest City in America and Beyond!

Minneapolis, Minnesota has been recognized as the happiest city in the United States and among the happiest in the world, according to a recent ranking by the Institute for Quality of Life. The study evaluated cities on 24 areas of activity within categories such as citizens, governance, environment, economy, and mobility.

Out of 37 total cities evaluated, Minneapolis was the only U.S. city to rank in the gold status category, achieving a high rank of 17. Several other U.S. cities were listed in the silver and bronze categories, including Boston, Baltimore, Washington, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Madison, Pittsburgh, Rochester, and Portland.
