Meyer-Zimmermann’s Impressive Performance at Grand Prix of Stockholm Keeping Her in the Race for the Global Champions Tour Championship

The ninth stop of the Global Champions Tour saw Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann and her horse Messi deliver a faultless performance in the jump-off at the Grand Prix of Stockholm. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to secure the win, with Belgian rider Olivier Philippaerts taking first place with Miro. This was a disappointment for Philipp Weishaupt from Riesenbeck, who finished in 31st place after receiving 16 penalty points. Just ahead of him was Swedish world champion Henrik von Eckermann with 16 penalty points and his top horse King Edward.

With six stages remaining in the series, Max Kühner from Starnberg has taken the lead in the rankings, competing for Austria. Danish rider Andreas Schou is currently in second place. The best German rider in the rankings is Christian Kukuk, who did not participate in the Stockholm event and is currently sitting in fourth place.

Despite this setback, Meyer-Zimmermann’s performance was impressive and showed that she is a force to be reckoned with on the show jumping circuit. With many stages left to go, she will undoubtedly continue to compete at a high level and challenge for wins at every opportunity.
