Maximizing Connections: Chamber Events and Opportunities in Flathead Valley Communities

The Flathead Food Bank is set to benefit from the 13th annual Closing the Hunger Gap food drive, organized by FundraiserAlliance Title & Escrow. Running throughout May, collections of both food and funds will be accepted at various branches across the Flathead Valley. Additionally, a portion of the revenue generated during this month will be donated to the cause. Donations can be dropped off during business hours, Monday to Friday, until May 31st. Since its inception in 2012, this campaign has contributed an impressive 268,116 pounds of food and $377,184 to local communities in need.

The Bigfork Chamber of Commerce is hosting its May Sundowner event on May 9th at 5 p.m. at Tall Pine, located at 435 Grand Drive in Bigfork. This event provides an excellent opportunity for business professionals to network and learn about upcoming events in the community.

On May 14th at 11:30 a.m., the Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce is holding its May membership luncheon at Cedar Creek Lodge, located at 930 Second Ave W in Columbia Falls. The guest speaker for this luncheon is Doug Mitchell, Executive Director of the Glacier National Park Conservancy.

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce is hosting two events on May 6th: Maximize Your Membership and a government affairs committee meeting. The Maximize Your Membership session will take place from 8-9 a.m., while the government affairs committee meeting will begin at noon at the chamber’s office located on 2 South Main St., Suite 205. During the government affairs committee meeting, attendees will hear from Jarod Nygren from the city of Kalispell about the Main Street Safety Action Plan.

These events provide excellent opportunities for businesses to network with other professionals in their respective communities and learn about upcoming events and initiatives that can benefit their organizations and their customers alike.
