Mason Striverson earns spot on College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team

Mason Striverson: The Remarkable Sophomore Guard Leading Both the Basketball Court and the Classroom at UE

Sophomore guard Kynidi Mason Striverson has been recognized for her outstanding performance on the basketball court and in the classroom. After a successful 2023-24 women’s basketball season, Striverson was named an Academic All-District selection by College Sports Communicators.

On the court, Striverson proved to be a valuable player for the Aces, averaging 11.5 points per game and leading UE in assists with 122 over 32 games. She was one of only three Evansville players to play in all 32 games and the sole player to start in all of them.

Striverson’s academic achievements are just as impressive as her athletic accomplishments. With a 3.663 cumulative GPA as a business management major, she has earned a spot on the Dean’s List at the University of Evansville twice in her two years. To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and either play in 90% of the team’s games or start in 66% of the team’s games.

Mason Striverson’s dedication to both her sport and her studies has earned her this prestigious recognition, highlighting her well-rounded achievements on and off the court.
