Manchester United Announces New Contract Extension for Erik ten Hag: A Look at the Coach’s Record and Future Plans with Ruud van Nistelrooy

Manchester United has announced that Erik ten Hag has extended his contract with the club until June 2026. The 54-year-old coach had only one year left on his previous deal, but he has now signed an extension after leading the team to an FA Cup victory last season. Reports suggest that his new contract is on the same terms as his previous one.

Ten Hag expressed his pleasure at continuing to work with the club and stated, “Reflecting on the past two years, we can take pride in winning two trophies and making progress from where we started. In his first season at Old Trafford, ten Hag guided the team to a third-place finish in the Premier League and a Carabao Cup triumph.
