Local Business Owners generously donate 150 Turkeys to the Community.

In Nicholasville, a group of business owners has come together to make sure that everyone has something to be thankful for on Thanksgiving. Jacob Warren, owner of Working Wrenches, highlighted the importance of helping those in need and the impact it can have on the community. This year, he and other business owners decided to purchase 150 turkeys for those who might need one this week.

Landon Marsh, owner of Bubba Grub, shared that giving back to the community has always been important to him as he has been blessed and wants to bless others in return. Carletta Johnson, a local resident present at the turkey giveaway, explained that receiving a turkey meant a happier Thanksgiving for her and many others who were struggling due to unemployment and waiting for Social Security payments. For them, it was a reminder to be grateful for the blessings they had.

The act of giving back was deeply moving for Johnson, who had personally experienced humbling experiences such as feeding the homeless. She expressed profound gratitude for the compassion of others and emphasized the significance of being thankful for the blessings received.
