Limited Participation for CeeDee Lamb during Cowboys’ Practice on Monday
CeeDee Lamb, the Dallas Cowboys’ top wide receiver, is expected to miss a significant portion of practice time this week due to an ankle injury. The Cowboys did not hold a practice on Wednesday, as they are preparing for their matchup with the Washington Commanders on Thursday afternoon. If they had practiced, Lamb would have been limited by his injury.
In addition to Lamb, right tackle Terence Steele is also nursing an ankle injury and would have been limited in practice if the Cowboys had held one. Tight end Peyton Hendershot and defensive lineman Osa Odighizuwa were both listed as full participants in Wednesday’s session. However, wide receiver KaVontae Turpin was also present but nursing a shoulder injury that would have limited his participation.
On the other hand, running back Rico Dowdle and safety Jayron Kearse were both held out of practice due to ankle and back injuries, respectively. Dowdle suffered his injury in Sunday’s win over the Panthers and is expected to miss several days of practice as he recovers. Meanwhile, Kearse has been dealing with a nagging back issue that has forced him out of practices before.
