John Anzak: Your One-Stop News, Sports, and Job Opportunities Update

John E. Anzak, a 66-year-old resident of Hannibal, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Born on July 31, 1957, to the late Shirley (Cochran) and John Anzak, John spent his entire working life with the US Postal Service.

He devoted 24 years as Post Master before retiring on his birthday in 2009 after a long and dedicated career. John was an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast who loved nothing more than spending time outdoors.

Surviving family members include his brother James Anzak of St. Clairsville, OH; niece Megan Anzak of Taylors, SC; and step-niece Kelly Reasbeck of Marins Ferry. In addition to these close relatives, he also had three first cousins who mourn his passing.

John’s friends and family will come together to celebrate his life at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in St Clairsville on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 11am. Pastor Dan Nelson will officiate the service that will begin at 1pm. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements for this special occasion.
