The NFL Network’s irresponsible report about a “heated argument” between Jets owner Woody Johnson and coach Robert Saleh at the league owners meetings has been refuted by Johnson. The NFL Network, which is owned by the NFL, did not prevent Colleen Wolfe, an NFL Network personality who appears on “Good Morning Football,” from suggesting that Johnson and Saleh were at odds during a recent “Around the NFL” podcast.
However, when pressed about the matter by podcast co-hosts Dan Hanzus and Marc Sessler, Wolfe downplayed the conversation, refusing to label it as an “argument” but still trying to fuel speculation about it. SNY quickly reported that no such conversation occurred at the reception for NFL owners.
