Thomas VanSlembrouck, of Grand Rapids, Mich., has been to the Boston Marathon ahead of, cheering on a lot of of his loved ones members who have competed in the world’s oldest marathon.

The skilled men’s field will set off at 9:37 a.m., ten minutes ahead of the skilled girls. The 127th operating will function the quickest field in marathon history, like 12 earlier Boston champions.
