RICHMOND — Companies impacted by the huge fire in Richmond want to know when they can reopen their doors.
The fire has been out for far more than a day but the evacuation orders are nevertheless in spot.

Some companies in Richmond have kept their doors closed for a number of days for the reason that of the toxic fire at a plastics facility. People’s livelihoods are becoming impacted.

Lewis says across the street from the web site is a Dollar Common.
It has indicators on its doors saying the place is temporarily closed and will reopen quickly.
Lewis also spoke on Friday more than the telephone with one particular of the personnel of a nearby company. They did not want want their name or the company they operate to be identified.
He asked the worker about the lost income.
“We’ve lost about $7,000,” stated the worker. “My owner is losing revenue. The employees is losing revenue. My telephone has been ringing off the hook due to the fact this fire. I’ve in fact have a lot of persons these days text me and asked me, ‘when are you guys going to be open? We missed you.’”

News Center 7′s I-Group reported Friday Wayne County home records show the city purchased two-thirds of the properties that burned in 2021. Richmond Mayor Dave Snow stated this week it was carried out so they can mitigate challenges with the home.
Citizens really feel let down right after the huge fire.
“It tends to make me really feel like my city’s failed me,” the worker stated. “It feels like not only has it failed our company, but it is failed the residents about us.”
Lewis says the company is contemplating reopening subsequent week but nevertheless has issues about the air high quality in Richmond.
