Spring sports in Lenawee County are in full swing.

Intense Action in High School Sports: Girls’ Soccer and Lacrosse Matches Dominate the Scene

This week, Lenawee County high school sports are in full swing. On Monday, the girls soccer teams from Clinton and Tecumseh faced off. The game was intense, with both teams giving it their all. In the end, Clinton emerged victorious with a score of 8-2. Aubrey Lauer scored six goals for Clinton, while Anna Schaffner added two more and had two assists. Kaylee Raiser also contributed two assists, and Jackie Whiting made six saves in goal. Tecumseh’s Shaylinn Drouillard scored both of her team’s goals.

Meanwhile, Blissfield’s girls soccer team took on Monroe on Monday and suffered a 7-2 loss. Despite their efforts, they were unable to keep up with Monroe’s strong play.

In lacrosse news, the Tecumseh girls team opened their season with a game against Sylvania Northview on Monday. Although they lost 16-4, Sapphira Williams and Emily Burgess each had a goal and an assist. Jayden Poley and Jazlyn Reau also scored for Tecumseh. Northview traveled all the way from Ohio for the game, adding an extra challenge to the matchup.
