During the week of June 20 to June 27, several restaurants and food vendors in Orange County were ordered to close due to various health violations. In Garden Grove, two Mobil stations were shut down: one on 11962 Brookhurst St. on June 26 because of a cockroach infestation and the other on Harbor Blvd. on June 21 due to inoperable employee restrooms. However, both stations were able to reopen the next day.

In Irvine, Layer Cake Bakery was closed on June 26 without a reason provided but was able to resume operations later that day. In Westminster, Cho Cu Bakery was closed on the same day for a cockroach infestation and Green Tomato Grill was closed the previous day for the same reason but quickly reopened on the same day. Lam Van and Luc Dinh Ky Restaurant were also closed in Westminster for cockroach infestations on June 21 and reopened by June 25.

EZ Baby Market in Anaheim was closed on June 24 due to a cockroach infestation but was back in business by June 25.

The list of closures is updated weekly with status updates provided in the following week’s list. Information is sourced from the OC Health Care Agency database.
