Helsinki Stock Exchange Takes a Hit as Nine Companies See Share Price Decline Following Earnings Releases

On Friday, the Helsinki Stock Exchange saw its stock prices take a hit, with the general index falling 0.3 percent to 9,804.23 points. Fortum and Invoicera were among the most traded stocks, both down 1.0 percent and 1.3 percent respectively.

Ten companies reported their earnings results on Friday, with nine seeing a decline in share price. At the bottom of the list was an industrial service company Lassila & Tikanoja, which fell short of analysts’ expectations in the fourth half of the year. Their share price dropped by 9.1 percent. Chemical company Kemira and trading company Stockmann also reported results, while YIT and beverage company Olvin shared their adjusted operating profits.

Bittium, Telestone, food company HKScan, IT service company Digian, and Enento also reported their fourth-quarter results. In the afternoon, Enento shared their results, noting that their turnover shrank in the fourth quarter of last year.

The stock market saw many companies reporting results and share prices falling on Friday afternoon. The most traded stocks were all down, with Lassila & Tikanoja being at the bottom of the list followed by Kemira and Stockmann
