Eagles grant LB Haason Reddick permission to explore trade options

Haason Reddick’s Trading Card: Eagles’ Defensive Standout Asks Permission for Exploration Options

Haason Reddick, a seven-year veteran and second-team All-Pro in 2022, has requested permission from the Philadelphia Eagles to explore trade options, according to reports on Sunday. Reddick played his first four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals before joining the Carolina Panthers for one season in 2021.

In his two years with the Eagles, Reddick has been a standout performer. In 2023, he recorded an impressive 11 sacks and earned his first two Pro Bowl nods of his career. He also had 23 quarterback hits and 13 tackles for loss during that time. During his first season in Philadelphia, Reddick set a high bar by tying Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett for the second-most sacks in the NFL (16 sacks). Additionally, he paced all defensive players with five forced fumbles as Philadelphia reached Super Bowl LVII.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Reddick with the Eagles or if a trade is imminent. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
