Gray Stone Day School: Ranks 28th in North Carolina and 801st Nationally in the Best High Schools Rankings

Gray Stone Day School, a charter school located in North Carolina, has been recognized as one of the top high schools in the country by U.S. News & World Report. The school ranked 801st nationally and 28th in North Carolina for the 2024 Best High Schools rankings. Gray Stone received a score of 95.46 out of 100, with students excelling in various areas such as AP exams, math proficiency, reading skills, and science knowledge.

The school’s chief administrative officer, Helen Nance, expressed pride in the students and staff for their hard work and dedication to providing a strong education that has led to this recognition. U.S. News collected data on over 17,000 high schools across the country, making Gray Stone’s ranking even more impressive considering its position in the top 4%.

Gray Stone had previously been ranked ninth in North Carolina and sixteenth in the state in 2023 and 2022 respectively, demonstrating consistent excellence over time. The announcement coincided with National Charter Schools Week, with fourteen other charter schools also making it to the list of top high schools in North Carolina.

This recognition highlights Gray Stone’s commitment to preparing students for success through quality education and academic achievement.
