Global Citizen, a leading organization dedicated to ending extreme poverty, will be hosting a summit in New York on May 1st and 2nd. The event will bring together an array of political, business, and philanthropic leaders from around the world. Among the notable attendees are Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi, and Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg.

The summit aims to address some of the most pressing issues related to extreme poverty, such as food insecurity, climate change, and public health. Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans emphasized the urgency of ending extreme poverty and the need for actionable solutions. Notable figures like actors Hugh Jackman, Danai Gurira, Dakota Johnson, and representatives from companies such as Cisco, Citi, Delta, and PayPal will also be present at the event.
