Tony Dokoupil, another co-anchor on “CBS Mornings,” revealed that Gayle King is also featured in the Sports Illustrated Legends edition during an interview on the show Tuesday morning. During the interview, Kate Upton and Hunter McGrady surprised King with the news that she is one of the cover stars for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s special 60th anniversary edition.

King was shocked to discover that she is one of the cover models and expressed being speechless by the news. She credited the photographer for guiding her every step of the way, from toe extension to finger position. “I just never saw myself this way,” King stated. “I still don’t see myself this way.” However, when she looked at the cover, she exclaimed, “I look damn good.”

McGrady praised King, noting that the cover image proves that sexiness is not defined by age or size, offering inspiration to women of all ages. Nate Burleson, another co-anchor on “CBS Mornings,” congratulated King on officially becoming a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl and urged her to savor the moment as she looked at it.
